Robin Hodess to Lead GRI as CEO

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has appointed Robin Hodess as its new CEO, effective February 2025. Hodess, currently Chief of Strategy and Impact at The B Team, brings decades of expertise in governance, advocacy, and global sustainability efforts.

Hodess will lead the implementation of GRI’s updated strategy, reinforcing its role as a global leader in corporate sustainability reporting.

Leadership Transition

Hodess was selected following a global search. Cristina Gil White, interim CEO since September 2024, will continue to lead until Hodess steps into the role.

A Proven Track Record

Hodess’s career includes leadership roles with Transparency International, where she directed policy, advocacy, and research. She also serves as Chair of B Lab Germany and Board Member of the Open Government Partnership (USA).

Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.

With a global career rooted in sustainability and corporate responsibility, Hodess’s leadership is expected to solidify GRI’s position as a driving force in transparent corporate reporting.
