Riyadh, Dec 6, 2024 (ESG NEWS) – The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) and Climeworks, a global leader in carbon dioxide removal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore Direct Air Capture (DAC) technologies in Saudi Arabia.

The agreement, signed during the 4th Saudi Green Initiative Forum, reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Alsaud, Minister of Energy, and Chairman of KAPSARC’s Board of Trustees
